In complete contrast to last years event The Tom Hogan Lexus Golf Challenge took place in beautiful sunshine in the Galway Golf Club, Salthill on 2nd June. With over seventy golfers in attendance, the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The overall winner of the 18 hole singles stablefort competition was Aidan Hanley with Mary Breathnach coming second and David Kearney and Michael Dunleavy third and fourth. The Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin winners were John Killeen and David Kearney.
The day of golfing was nicely rounded off by drinks and dinner in the Clubhouse and the presentation of prizes by David Hogan, Chairman of The Tom Hogan Motor Group.
The twelve finalists will all enjoy a day out at the Lexus Owner Golf Challenge 2006 to be held in August at Mount Juliet, Kilkenny.
